You may have noticed it’s been awhile since our last weekly LiveStream event. We’ve found that Facebook’s streaming has been a bit of a pain to work with. We’ve had our stream cut, not due to any technical issues on our end, but because Facebooks algorithm takes umbrage to our performance somehow. That and the inability to present the audio at the same quality as the later edits has pushed us to up our game.
For the forceable future, we’ll be streaming from Twitch. Go get yourself an account. You won’t regret it. You can find our channel here or by searching for end_livestream. We’re still working out some technical details but our testing is coming along. The biggest change will be in the audio. Full multitrack direct audio input, rather than using the camera’s mic. The Soiled Utilities Productions studio is in flux currently, but you can read more about that here. Once the dust settles testing can resume with a potential for a stream mid November.
